PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

Block 1 Practicum​
​
In the Fall of 2018, I was a practicum student in Mrs. Arin Casavant's 4th grade class at Fort Lincoln Elemntary school in Mandan, ND.  I taught Language Arts and Art Lessons during my 120 hours in the classroom. 



Block 2 Practicum

In the Spring of 2019, I was a practicum
student in Mrs. Kristie Knopp's 1st grade
class at Grimsrud Elementary School in
Bismarck, ND. I am teaching Reading,
Math, Science, Social Studies, and Art while 
completing my 120 hours in the classroom. ​


30 Hour Practicum
In the Fall of 2018, I was a practicum 
student in Miss Rachel Steffens
3rd grade MREC afterschool program

at ​Lincoln Elementary School in Bismarck, ND.

Education Work Experience
Nanny: 2011-2015
​

I took care of two children during my high school years.  Throughout the week, I took the children to practice, helped them with homework, and assisted in household chores. 
Reading Tutor: 2015-2017
​

During this time frame, I was able to collaborate with a young student's IEP team. I was then able to implement the reading plan for the young student. The first summer I tutored the student, he moved from a letter J to letter L on the Fountas and Pinnell chart.

Missouri River Educational Cooperative (MREC) Lead Youth Leader: 2017-Present 
​

I welcome students as school gets out, assist them with homework,plan and implement different art, science, and math activities. I also communicate with parents and supervisors.

Bismarck Public School Aide: 2018-Present
I get the chance to help support students within a wide variety of ages, backgrounds, and levels of learning. I adapt the classroom materials  to the needs of student with whom I work with.  As an aide, I collaborate and communicate with the general and special education instructors.
